This is the very rare highly sought after 1st release quad in near mint unused condition with fabulous artwork by McCall.










IN COLD BLOOD

Based on Truman Capote’s 1966 nonfiction book of the same title it tells the true story two men who murdered a family of four in Holcomb, Kansas. Some ageing, handling, light foxing, X cert blacked out and various pinholes, however the artwork is absolutely superb and the poster displays to very good effect.










LADY IN CEMENT

Sequel to the 1967 film ‘Tony Rome’, Sinatra again plays the private detective on the case of a missing girl. Very good condition with great pics of Sinatra and bikini clad Raquel Welch.

Moore’s first outing as 007, mixing blacksploitation, voodoo, and the USA deep south with suitably explosive results. McGinnis’s artwork looks simply stunning in this large format and before backing the poster was in near mint condition (as can be seen in the photo).

This first release poster is in excellent original condition.

A disreputable Private Detective Slim Callaghan (de Marney) is hired to investigate a murder and cover up, based on the novel by Peter Cheyney with music by Chet Atkins. Superb film Noir style artwork. Slight fold wear and some pinholes to corners that have been restored with archival conservation museum tape verso.

All the principles give outstanding performances, with Hoskins nominated for several awards for his performance (including the Academy Award for Best Actor), winning the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. The quad is based on Jung’s US artwork (minus Oscar!). Apart from light fold wear and very slight paper loss upper right edge, it displays very well.

Plumber and Mason give superb performances as Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson in this stylish thriller, which has Holmes on the hunt for the infamous Whitechapel murderer Jack the Ripper. There is the residue of dried tape on each corner, otherwise displays very well.

Hitchcock film noir in which U.S. agent T.R. Devlin (Grant) recruits Alicia Huberman (Bergman), the U.S. daughter of a convicted German war criminal, as a spy to help bring Nazis to justice. Rare 1956 re-release in very good condition with light handling, pinholes and printers ink splash on the right, giving a fascinating glimpse into the printing process.










OCEAN’S 11

The ultimate in cool, this heist movie features the famous Rat Pack and oozes style right from the opening sequence by legendary Saul Bass through to the closing shot of them walking down Las Vegas Blvd. Prior to backing this 1st release quad had some ageing and light fold and edge wear, but now looks the business! An iconic film and a must have for any serious collector.

This is an original very scarce first release quad in excellent condition that was reused for the re-release to cash in on Connery’s newly found international fame with a snipe reordering the cast to give Connery top billing.

An American scientist (Newman) pretends to defect to East Germany as part of a clandestine mission to obtain the solution of a formula resin and escape back to the United States. Very slight fold wear, otherwise in great shape.

Based on Alistair MacLean’s novel, Kastner had planned this to be the first in a string of espionage thrillers to rival the James Bond series, but the film’s poor box office receipts meant this never happened. Fantastically dramatic artwork by Bysouth, the poster displays superbly.










WHILE THE CITY SLEEPS

A serial killer is on the loose in New York City. Dubbed “The Lipstick Killer,” he has also strangely become the center of a power struggle between three division chiefs in a media empire. There is slight ageing and some edge tears, otherwise in good condition.

Bond goes east, in this thrill a minute spectacular, seeing 007 pitted against super villain and head of Spectre, Blofeld, who is holed up in a hollowed out volcano (as you do!). There were 3 quad designs for the film, this being the style A (Volcano) version. It is also oversized (as most of this print run were) at 31″ x 41″ and is in excellent condition.
